SURF. CLIMB. EXPLORE.

We are driving to the southern most tip of South America from Canada in our custom built Mitsubishi Delica that we call Peso.   Wandering Peso was born out of our dream to adventure into raw, honest and wild places around the world.

We have been wandering and exploring this route since June 2018 and we’d love for you to follow along.

Manual Locking Hubs

Manual Locking Hubs

We installed new Aisin manual locking hubs because we wanted manual control for our journey.  In our research, we saw that there have been some issues with the automatic OG hubs on the Delica breaking or disengaging at inopportune times.   The auto hub removal and manual hub installation is very simple. Pistachio Crusted Asparagus

In the high mountains of Big Bear, we found ourselves craving some sautéed asparagus.  We found some organic asparagus at the local market and used ingredients from our camp kitchen to fill in the rest.   This is a great side dish to add to any main course and is really simple to prepare.  This […]

Hewitt is working with us to match it to the Turbo Boost gauge.) Installed the temperature […]

Creamy Pasta Primavera

Big Bear, California. Camped just over 6,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains we found the Hanna Flats Loop trail to spend the day hiking and trail running.  The trail winds through previously burned pine forests revealing large smooth boulders that dot the trail.  We saw several mountain bikers and other hikers, but for the […]
