We have been wandering and exploring this route since June 2018 and we’d love for you to follow along.

Guadalajara, Eat your heart out!

Guadalajara, Eat your heart out!

A beautiful city, easily navigable by foot and by Uber, it is situated in the heart of the land of Agave.  Guadalajara is located in the western state of Jalisco and is the second largest city in Mexico. While it is the second largest city, it doesn’t feel that way once you are walking around. […]

Creamy Pasta Primavera

Creamy Pasta Primavera

Big Bear, California. Camped just over 6,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains we found the Hanna Flats Loop trail to spend the day hiking and trail running.  The trail winds through previously burned pine forests revealing large smooth boulders that dot the trail.  We saw several mountain bikers and other hikers, but for the […]

Baltic Birch Wood Floor

Baltic Birch Wood Floor

We chose Baltic Birch ply as our floor for a few reasons.  We like the natural feel of wood, it adds a brightness to the interior living space, and because it also acts as the subfloor.  We cut the floor from 2 sheets of 5’x5’ ply and it fits snuggly around the wheel wells and […]
