Vehicle
We are driving throughout the Americas in our Mitsubishi Delica that we call Peso. She is a 1989 Mitsubishi Delica Starwagon (Chamonix) or L300. After looking for over a year to find her, we imported her from Japan in May of 2016. The import process was fairly straightforward and we enjoyed the excitement of purchasing the van from the auction in Japan. Feel free to message us if you want to know more about that process.
She means more to us than just a vehicle. She is the gateway to giving us mobility and a means to explore so many new places.
She is the backbone to the art of wandering: being present, allowing yourself to be a student of your surroundings, a way to be connected to communities, letting the place lead to the next destination.
