SURF. CLIMB. EXPLORE.

We are driving to the southern most tip of South America from Canada in our custom built Mitsubishi Delica that we call Peso.   Wandering Peso was born out of our dream to adventure into raw, honest and wild places around the world.

We have been wandering and exploring this route since June 2018 and we’d love for you to follow along.

Classic Surfboard Style Wood Ceiling

Classic Surfboard Style Wood Ceiling

The ceiling is classic and simple, but artfully crafted.  Crafted from Walnut, Sapele and Redwood it is reminiscent of an classic wood surfboard.  We definitely could have chosen a different style or material, but we both knew that we wanted to have something beautiful to look at when we woke up and went to sleep. Bigger is Better: Battery Lessons on the Road

Bigger is Better: Battery Lessons on the Road

Bigger is better; in the case of batteries for overlanding.  In the planning process for building out our battery and solar system we found there is a lot of information out there, but little that applied and that was relevant to our situation and charging capabilities. Each system is unique to your own power needs […]

La Mojarra: A Climbers Paradise

La Mojarra: A Climbers Paradise

Time has a way of getting lost at this place.   Waking up to beautiful sunrises over the canyon while eating freshly baked artisan rolls filled with warm dark chocolate. And then go climb your brains out on the hundreds of bolted routes just minutes from your cabin, tent or overland rig.  It’s pretty spectacular.  […]
