MODIFICATIONS

Peso was pretty awesome already when we picked her up from the port in Long Beach, but considering we are living out of her for a couple of years we made some upgrades.  Making an overland vehicle self-reliant means we will able to live from the van for extended periods of time in remote areas. As such, we need a few things: fresh potable water, hot water, sleeping space, cooking and refrigeration, security, solar power and recovery systems.

Below are the upgrades we have done.  Click on the links for more details of the modification and how we did it.

  • Upgrade rotors and add steel braided lines on brakes
  • 1.5" Front lift 
  • Add leaf spring to rear for added weight
  • Replace all shocks
